The Falcon 500 was the predecessor to the Kraken X60 Motor, manufactured by Vex Pro and Cross the Road Electronics. They were discontinued in 2023, but remain legal for use.

Other Notes

  • This motor uses either the specific Falcon shafts or standard 8mm keyed shafts like Neos. They can be swapped by removing the 3 long screws with a torx driver.

  • This motor came in 3 different revisions, each with slightly different specifications and minor design changes.

  • This motor uses an integrated TalonFX Motor controller, like a Kraken, and does not require a separate motor controller.

  • Falcons were notoriously unreliable, and 1339 sold off the majority of ours. There are probably 20 or so left.
