## Material Compatibility

The Markforged Mark Two can only print in Onyx or PLA materials.

When printing in onyx, you may add continuous fibers to your part to increase strength significantly. More information about these fiber materials can be found [here](https://markforged.com/materials/continuous-fibers/).

## Operation

The printer is controlled using the touch screen in front of the bed on the printer. A Stylus must be used with this touch screen, fingers will not work reliably.

Instructions for loading and unloading material can be found in [this video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvCJcgJIXtA)

## Software

Markforged uses their own web-based slicing software called [Eiger](https://www.eiger.io/signin#). This software is only compatible with Google Chrome browser.

You must have a Markforged account and be added to our team in the software to use the printer. Contact Garrett to be added and to use this printer.
