Shapeoko Pro

Overview

The Shapeoko Pro is our team's primary CNC Router. It can be used to cut parts from Aluminum, Plastics, or Wood.

Fixturing

• Materials must be securely fixtured to the Shapeoko router's table before cutting. This is commonly done by placing a sheet of material on the table, and then surrounding the piece with a series of 1/2" Lath Screws - which are screwed into the wooden waste board under the material. A minimum of 3 screws per side should be used whenever possible. However, using more screws is generally better than less screws. Additional screws may be added on the inside area of the sheet of material once parts have been cut out from the sheet.
